President Barack Obama threw out the first pitch at tonight’s All Star Game at the new Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO.
Sporting a Chicago White Sox jacket, the lefty tossed a solid, looping strike from the rubber to Albert Pujols.
I thought it was a gutsy move to throw from the rubber, but the bold hurler took the risk and it paid off, receiving a nice ovation from the fans after delivering the ball to the St. Louis first baseman.
Obama was given the ball by St. Louis great Stan Musial, who was carted in from right field. Musial received the second biggest ovation of the night–second only of course to Pujols.

What Country, League, or Umpire would have considered Obama’s pitch “a strike”? He was lucky Albert got it out front before it hit the dirt(which it would have). Wearing his loser ChiSox jacket and old mom jeans, he surely disappointed.
Well, in my defense, I had to put a headline quickly and Fox had a horrible presentation and I couldn’t see the pitch, ha.
hahaha
Oh, and just one note I learned today. Obama wore the White Sox jacket because he had a bulletproof vest on underneath. That could have definitely prevented him from throwing the ball properly. Possible.
